CGolden Designs designs thoughtful and beautiful spaces for clients who value both function and form.

We work with clients in a range of services from remodels to simply warming up the space with curated accessories. We work in and around the metro Atlanta area and the 30A area.

  • We’ll meet and discuss the space. What you love, what is working in the room, what needs to change, what furniture pieces need to stay. 

    We document the space, create a floor plan or renovation that you will love. 

  • Let’s go shopping.

    I offer guidance and designer discounts for online shopping and up to  4 showrooms.

    If you are not ready to purchase yet, no problem. I’ll give you a referral list for furniture, textiles and accessories, vendors, and a list of trusted contractors. That way you have everything you need when you are ready to begin.

    You’ll do all of your purchasing and hiring any required contractors or trades yourself so you remain in control.

  • You tell me what you love, what inspires you, and what you want the space to feel like. If you are not sure, I can help you find a style that will feel just like you.

  • I’ll leave you with a detailed floor plan of your space to keep. I’ll email pictures of products with the store where they can be purchased and the exact item number. I’ll also send an architectural illustration on architectural grade paper. 

    Further questions can be handled with an appointment. An appointment allows me to review your space so I can answer with your plan in my hands. 

  • I’ll design a layout and color presentation for your space with the colors, textiles, furniture that will complement you and your space. We will refine the choices to your preference during the presentation. 

  • Enjoy your space! Sit back and relax in in your expertly designed and perfectly tailored to you room.

Meet Carolyn.

I’ve always loved planning beautiful spaces and had the ability to visualize and change the space in my mind. How can I make a space better, more functional and aesthetically pleasing with a color harmony that makes it feel just so good to live there. 

I was a math and science middle school teacher and then a mom to seven but everywhere we lived I loved creating a beautiful welcoming home. I made pillows, drapes wallpapered and painted the homes myself to make the budget work. I understand a budget and the need for affordability. 

After selling our Home Care business that my husband and I ran for 14 years I decided to get the education and certification to back up what I loved doing, designing beautiful spaces.

Architectural illustration classes, interior design diploma from New York Institute of Art and Design,  color theory classes and studies and the Residential Interior Design Qualification exam completed the process of qualification to confidently design for others. 

Now I can confidently and joyfully create design’s for you and help you realize your homes full potential so you have a space you love to come home to everyday.
